Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Xi Lambda Chapter and Copernicus Elementary
2008-2009 Activities
- APA has held two events so far this year where APA members read to students using books donated through Reading is Fundamental. After the reading event, the students were able to keep the literature.
2007-2008 Activities
- On May 22, 2007, students of Copernicus Elementary got to pick out books donated by Alpha Phi Alpha members
- On April 17, 2008, APA members attended Copernicus's Report Card Pick Day to see the students and meet their parents.

Previous Activities
- APA held regular book handouts at Copernicus, where students get to choose from a selection of donated books and bring their chosen book home with them.
- Every year, APA members read to students once a month to promote recreational reading.
- APA has donated over $1500 in books to Copernicus during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 school years
