"Think big, start small. The sky's the limit, you should inch towards the limit, but you have to start where you can begin, with what the alumni club can handle."

-- Dr. Sandra Fontanez-Phelan, Principal Kelvyn Park High School (Smith College Alumnae partner)

Recreating a Library
During Iowa University's spring break, 12 current Iowa students came to Chalmers to fix up the school's library. These students recreated Chalmers' library, bringing it from dusty shelves and boxes to a beautiful, user-friendly center. The Iowa students also spent time with Chalmers students and answered their questions about college life.
