Academic Support
Here are suggestions on how to support your partner school in academics:
- Provide guest speakers for a Career Fair, for all classes, for a particular unit or for the AVID program.

- Tutor students one Saturday per month and help them prepare for standardized tests.
- Tutor students once a week before school starts (7:30-8:30am for most
schools).
- Help build partner school's library by donating books and organizing others' donations.
- Organize a mini-course as part of Student Development Days once a month (on media, non-profits, etc.).
- Provide internship opportunities for students during the summer.
- Help students prepare for history and science fairs or help judge the fairs
