Fundraising for Your School

Financial or material donations can be a convenient and useful way to support your partner school. Here are suggestions on ways to fundraise for your partner school:

  • Ask parent committees and the school's administration for fundraising options.

  • Support school-run fundraisers such as bake sales or ticket sales for theatre performances.

  • Encourage enrollment in the Washington Mutual WaMoola for Schools program to earn money for your partner school on everyday purchases.

  • Encourage enrollment in the Target Take Charge of Education program and earn money for your school on every Target purchase.

  • Promote the use of Good Search to generate revenue for your partner school every time you search the internet.

  • Persuade your company or the school's own corporate sponsors to fund a particular program or event.

  • Use the CPS Grant Opportunities website to find grants that your school could apply for.

  • Use the Donors Choose website to help fund teachers' proposals at your partner school.

  • Use the CPS Free Things website to donate office furniture, books, school supplies, computers, etc. to your school or another CPS school.
